What is TFMD?
If we’re being honest, this site is just a pet project. Instead of going on social media and blasting my useless thoughts to friends and family, I've created this space where my thoughts and musings can sit without the burden of checking for reaction.
What you'll find here are my ruminations on various topics, vaguely organized within a few general areas. I can't promise that they've been well researched and I make no claims to be an expert in anything you may read.
Who am I?
As I was often told in High School, and once as an adult, I am nobody. I am a man writing in a journal; a husband, and father to two children. I have a high curiosity of the world around me and often reflect heavily on my own failings within that world.
My current line if work is more technical, but I doubt I'll touch on this aspect of things within the content here. Maybe as a deeper dive into how I got here, but not on the actual work.
I love studying people; and I mean this in the sense of just being a causual observer of human behavior in those I can readily see, and not in a true professional or research capacity. Watching people react to the most basic pieces of everyday life is magical to me even when it's mundane, even when it's expected, and most definitely when it's out of the ordinary.
Do I use AI?
Yes, I do, but it is limited in it's scope. AI was used to assist in building out the infrastructure of this website and the mechanisms around posting here and to any social media platforms. It does not touch my content; that alone is mine, and I own any grammatical errors, typos, or disjointed thoughts.
